The requirements for state-of-the-art battery chargers and testing devices are rising on a constant basis as more and more energy is required in the smallest space.
FSM Elektronik develops, produces, and distributes customised chargers and electronics for all merchantable accumulator systems. In cooperation with our powerful partner BMZ we are able to develop and deliver solutions on the basis of nickel metal hydride and lithium ion accumulators for nearly all requirements. When compared to traditional solutions, intelligent accumulator electronics offer decisive advantages:
- protection against over- or under-voltages
- protection against short-circuit and overheating
- increase of the efficiency by means of a targeted adaptation of the charging procedure
- communication on residual capacities, cycles, and the current status of the accumulator
- during the charging procedure a maximum capacity usage is achieved (cell balancing)
The increasing capacity reserves and the ever new accumulator technologies require customised solutions.
